Key Activities Organized by NSS

  1. Health and Hygiene Campaigns
NSS volunteers regularly conduct health and hygiene awareness programs in nearby villages and urban areas. These campaigns focus on topics like sanitation, the importance of clean drinking water, and the prevention of diseases. Our students actively participate in distributing pamphlets, conducting health check-ups, and educating the local population.
  2. Tree Plantation Drives
In alignment with our commitment to environmental sustainability, the NSS unit organizes tree plantation drives every year. Students participate in planting trees on campus and in local areas, promoting green spaces and contributing to the fight against climate change.
  3. Blood Donation Camps
NSS organizes annual blood donation drives to contribute to the health system. These camps not only provide much-needed blood to local hospitals but also instill a sense of social responsibility and humanity among students.
  4. Village Adoption Program
As part of our community outreach efforts, the NSS unit has adopted nearby villages to work towards their development. Through this initiative, students participate in infrastructure development, educational programs, and health awareness activities, aiming to uplift rural communities.
  5. Awareness Campaigns on Social Issues
Students actively engage in campaigns addressing various social issues such as gender equality, women’s empowerment, anti-ragging, environmental conservation, and mental health awareness. These campaigns often involve street plays, presentations, and community workshops.
  6. Disaster Relief and Management
During natural calamities or emergencies, NSS volunteers are trained and mobilized to assist in disaster relief efforts. Students help in providing essential supplies, medical assistance, and other relief activities, offering support to affected communities.
